Dr. Johny J. Motran graduated with his doctorate from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in 2004 and before this received his Biology degree from the University of Maryland, College Park. He completed his residency in Foot & Ankle Surgery at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. His program was affiliated with rotations at the following hospitals: Northwest/Sinai in Baltimore, Rubin Institute of Advanced Orthopedics, University of Maryland, Bethesda Naval, Kimbraugh and George Washington. He is a board certified surgeon and a fellow of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.

Dr. Motran is dedicated to providing quality compassionate care to his patients and will provide the individualized attention to effectively diagnose and treat your foot and ankle problems. Dr. Motran believes in educating each patient and beginning a relevant treatment program with the highest quality of care available. Dr. Motran is a podiatrist MD residents can rely on to help ease their foot and ankle pain. He is constantly training and updating techniques and protocols by attending premier conferences and workshops to achieve the best outcomes for patients. Whatever your foot and ankle trouble, whether you need diabetic foot care or have a problem with arch or ankle pain, we’ll work together to find the answers that will comfort you and bring you relief!
Outside of podiatry, Dr. Motran enjoys spending as much time as he can with his family. He enjoys staying active including activities such as biking, hiking, tennis/pickle ball as well as weight training to stay healthy.
